Pixel Pass is an Indian indie game discovery and pay-per-hour gaming platform operated and registered in India. We connect Indian players with independent Indian game developers. Our platform is accessible at playpixelpass.org.

We collect the following information when you use Pixel Pass:

• Account information — your name, email address and password when you register
• Payment information — wallet top up amounts and transaction history. Card and UPI details are processed by Razorpay and never stored on our servers
• Gaming activity — which games you play, session start and end times, and session costs
• Reviews and ratings — any reviews or ratings you submit on games
• Device information — browser type and IP address for security purposes

For developers we additionally collect studio name, UPI ID for payouts, website URL and game descriptions.

We use your data to:

• Create and manage your account
• Process wallet top ups and session billing via UPI, cards and net banking
• Show your play history and session costs
• Send important account notifications like email verification and password resets
• Pay developers their 70% revenue share via UPI
• Improve the platform and fix bugs
• Prevent fraud and ensure platform security
• Comply with Indian tax and legal requirements

We do not use your data for advertising purposes and we do not sell your data to any third party.

We use the following trusted third party services to operate Pixel Pass:

• Supabase — database and authentication. Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers
• Razorpay — payment processing. Razorpay is a licensed payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). We never see your full payment details
• Vercel — website hosting infrastructure

Each of these services has their own privacy policy and security practices. Razorpay is PCI DSS compliant and regulated by the RBI.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion we will remove your personal data within 30 days.

Session history and payment records are retained for up to 8 years as required under Indian tax and accounting laws including the Income Tax Act 1961 and the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act 2017.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and other applicable Indian laws, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your account and personal data
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time
• Nominate another person to exercise your rights on your behalf
• Raise a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India

We take security seriously and follow the reasonable security practices mandated under the IT Rules 2011. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Payment processing is handled entirely by Razorpay which is PCI DSS compliant and RBI regulated.

Pixel Pass is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has registered on our platform please contact us and we will delete the account immediately in compliance with applicable Indian laws.
